We’re excited to be Virtually Connecting at the Digital Media & Learning Conference, taking place at the University of California, Irvine on October 5-7, 2016.
We have onsite buddies Mia Zamora, Alan Levine, Robin DeRosa and Andrea Rehn as well as guests Kate Green, Christian Friedrich, Kim Jaxon, Jonathan Worth, Nicole Mirra, Joe Dillon and Remi Holden Kalir.
There some great videos about the onsite event as well as Keynote Speaker & Workshop Organizer Interviews available in the video section of the conference website.
If you’re interested in having conversations with some of the folks onsite, we have the following sessions planned.
If you’re interested in joining any of those sessions, tweet us @vconnecting or leave a comment below. We’ll ask for your email address so we can send you a link to the session just before it goes live. Title times are local of the conference site (Pacific), scroll below to find the times adjusted to your timezones and the links to watch the sessions live or recorded if you can’t make it into the session itself.

Conference organizers are also livestreaming the following:
- Oct 6 Keynote: Constance Steinkueler http://sched.co/7Fh7
- Oct 7 Plenary: Jose Antonion Vargas Talks with Henry Jenkins http://sched.co/7FhU
- Oct 6 Ignite talks: http://sched.co/7FhJ
- Oct 7 Ignite talks: http://sched.co/7Fhf
Please note that even though we have events scheduled ahead of time, sometimes we start a little earlier than planned for various reasons; while we plan to spend around 30 minutes with those onsite, sometimes they may have to leave earlier, and sometimes they may be willing to stay longer. We embrace imperfection and spontaneity and we hope you will too, understanding the nature of hybrid connections
I would like to join the upcoming conference on Virtually Connecting as a Model for Transformative Learning. Thank you
I’m sorry Timothy, that is a closed workshop but you can view the session via the YouTubeLive feed.
