We Are @VConnecting at #ASCILITE2015 with Alison Reedy and Marion Kickett

We are Virtually Connecting at the Australian Society for Computers in Learning and Tertiary Education Conference #ASCILITE2015. The conference is (being held in Perth, Australia from November 30 – December 2) will be a feast on being Globally Connecting, Digitally Enabled.

What better way to embody that global connection enabled digitally than to hold a Virtually Connecting hangout where people who can’t be at the conference would have opportunities to converse with onsite speakers? And that’s what we are planning to do, via our onsite buddy Helen Farley and our virtual buddies Wendy Taleo and Penny Bentley! Read on!

Alison Reedy is presenting with Michael Sankey on “Designing for Relatedness: Learning Design and the Virtual Cultural Interface”. We look forward to finding out more! She will be chatting with Invited Speaker Marion Kickett about the art of yarning (informal conversations for learning and connectedness). Other guests will be joining! This conversation will take place and be live streamed here on Wednesday December 2nd at 2:30pm AWST (check your local time here): http://tiny.cc/ascilite2015VC

If you would like to participate in this conversation (i.e. be part of the hangout) you can contact Virtually Connecting on Twitter @vconnecting or leave a comment here. Alternatively you can directly tweet to one of the virtual buddies @wentale or @penpln.
